Every month, the Carousel Museum in Bristol, CT, hosts the Al Fenton Big Band’s open rehearsals, and it is an absolute delight. Attendees and staff alike can’t help but dance along to the band’s swinging tunes. The museum has also booked the band for gala events, where guests go wild. Al Fenton Big Band, Inc. put on a fantastic show at CT Valley Brewery. The band’s mix of classic and modern jazz, paired with tight brass and rhythm sections, had everyone captivated. Operation: Magic Carpet 2025 - The Geronimo Foundation
The Team at The Geronimo Foundation was able to deliver to the public a successful event this weekend at OPERATION: MAGIC CARPET 2025 for many reasons,, but it would not have been possible without the performance of the amazing AL FENTON BIG BAND!
THEY WERE INCREDIBLE! The song selection and delivery were beyond perfect. Their professionalism and presentation were on point all evening. Their enthusiasm was matched only by that of the attendees who along with the band were eager to start the party earlier than even scheduled! Everyone was in the Holiday Mood and ready to celebrate. We can not thank Band Leader Kathy Neri and all her musicians enough. They really brought the magic to the evening and made the WWII swing dance celebration the magical event it was.
We hope that if you have the opportunity to listen to them and/or engage them for performances you do so. They are a treasure and invaluable to the big band world and especially events like ours. Wishing them continued success, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hopefully an opportunity for us to work together again in the future to make more magic happen!
